Iran’s “Red Elephant” to go on stage at Dutch festival

TEHRAN – The Iranian play “Red Elephant” will be competing in the International Theatre School Festival, which will be held in Amsterdam from June 22 to 30.
Morteza Mirmontazemi will direct the play at Kleine Zaal on June 23 and 24.
“Red Elephant” is about a veteran commander who is undergoing treatment at a psychiatric hospital where he meets different people in various situations.
Mohammad-Hossein Siahpush, Kaveh Marhamati and Sepideh Sabbagh are the three main members of the cast.
“Red Elephant” is scheduled to go on stage in Paris in late June. The play was warmly received in Tokyo last year.
